January Newsletter Launch

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the New York State NAACP Monthly Newsletter! We are thrilled to launch this communication platform, bringing you closer to the heart of our mission, our community, and the remarkable achievements of our members. As we embark on this journey together, we find ourselves at a particularly auspicious time as February marks the beginning of Black History Month.

Celebrating Black History Month: Honoring the Past, Building the Future
This February, we honor and celebrate Black History Month, a time to recognize the immense contributions of African Americans throughout history. It is a moment to reflect on the struggles, triumphs, and pivotal moments that have shaped our community and the nation. This year while we certainly will continue to honor the past, we look forward to building the future.

The NAACP New York State Conference is proud to announce a partnership with Google titled, “Grow Together.” Grow Together represents a collaborative effort between the NAACP NYS and Google aimed at providing enhanced access to career development opportunities through Google's career certificate programs and training. As part of this campaign, we invite you to our Black History Month “Grow Together” event on February 24th. You can find more details and RSVP here.
